Hello, my first question at your blog. I am a Gold Marriott member. As you suggested, it seems that I can combine first promotions “if” I create a new account. Then when i redeem two certificates to reserve a hotel later in that account, do you think can I benefit from my gold status in another account?
Hi Jesse, technically not, as you are supposed to have only one Marriott Rewards account. However, you can create a new account for your travel partner and then redeem the certificates and show your Marriott Rewards Gold card. Thanks.
I will register for ths Marriott program. After 10 years of PC/IHG Platinum, I don’t think I like the new Big Win promo. Utterly unattainable. I think I will try another loyalty program.
Btw, why don’t you have a spot on Canada in your travel map? Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Niagara Falls, Banff are my top 5 Canadian cities.

Dries, from what I read, you cannot combine the ‘Free night for New Members’ promo and the 2000 referral points promo.
