Most Brussels Airlines flights tend to have high availability in the b.light economy booking class (even for last minute flights!). You can make a query at BrusselsAirlines.com to check if your preferred flights have b.light availability. I also like the fact the €89 vouchers are all-in (e.g. including checked luggage) and there’s no fee to buy them using your credit card (e.g. with the Brussels Airlines American Express) For normal bookings, Brussels Airlines charges a whopping €8 credit card fee!
I bought several bgift vouchers and was very happy with the service and as usual with SN, which is the only airline I’ve used within Europe the past decade or so. I hope there will be another Christmas action this year for 2015. The lady taking my reservation thought there would be 🙂
Thanks for your feedback Anne!
Interesting, mostly for Easter holiday travels. Would it be possible to combine a voucher with an infant ticket?
Good question, I suggest to tweet @FlyingBrussels. They tend to respond quickly on weekdays. Thanks.
I tweeted Brussels Airlines less than one hour ago and 12 minutes later I got a reply, that is on Saturday evening, 6pm!!!
“@askatasuna Yes, when you redeem your b.gift voucher, you can buy an extra infant ticket”
Great service by Brussels Airlines! 🙂
Onze zoon woont in Portugal, is dit offer geldig vanuit Lissabon naar Brussel of vanuit Lissabon naar een andere Europese stad in jullie lijst ?
Dank u
Anne Marie Galle
Anne Marie, B.Gift vouchers are only valid for flights from and to Brussels. Thank you.
Why do they add the saturday night rule? Bart do you know? Imo it seems irrelevant for an airline. Still going to buy some just think it’s an odd rule.
Hi Emely, the Saturday rule is very common in the airline world. It’s use to discourage business travelers to use certain fares and promotions, as they typically travel on weekdays and return home before the weekend.
Hi Bart,
250 miles only or could be credited with the traditional 1500 miles for a b.light eco ?
Romuald, I guess Brussels Airlines will make sure you are booked in a booking class which only earns 125 miles per flight when using the B.Gift vouchers. We’ll see…
Wow, nice offer – if one would buy ‘for 3 people’ does it mean you cannot book 3 separate flights for 1 pax only?
Correct, it’s a better idea to buy separate vouchers, even of you plan to travel with 2 or 3 pax as separate vouchers offer more flexibility.
